August/September Empties

Hey Behbees,

So I know you probably thought that I had given up on my whole trying to go through all the products I already have but..... NOPE!
I just hadn't used up as much as I wanted in August so I just decided to combine it with the September empties also!

Body Shop Strawberry Beauty Oil
This oil I bought when I used to have an unhealthy obsession with Body Shop products and could not pass the sho without entering and spending money when it was not needed! It's those bloody vouchers that they give you that traps you lol! But I am glad I finished it because it was nothing greaaat in all honest but hey it was nice to try sha.

Garnier Fresh Essentials Refreshing Cleansing Lotion
This product was bought when I was trying to find the perfect items to incorporate into my skin care. I like it because it works and I used it to take off my makeup before washing my face and I actually have nothing negative to say about it! I may repurchase if I don't find any other products that are more effective than it!

Castor Oil
What is there to say? Everyone knows about castor oil and that it is amazing for promoting hair growth and thickness. This bottle lasted me over 2years! I mixed it with other carrier oils due to it being so thick in consistency! It was my staple product when I was serious about looking after my relaxed locks back then. I still use castor oil (that is a whole other post) but I love the fact that it lasted so long and if my memory serves me right that 1litre bottle cost me around the £10 mark. I cannot lie this will be repurchased very soon.

Victoria Secrets Coconut Passion Lotion
This purchase was not planned but also not regretted! I love the Vicky Secrets scents because they make you smell so scrumptious and leave the skin feeling amazing! I like this scent because it is not overpowering but also a delicate type of sweet! I have found myself loving off the Victoria Secrets lotions/ butters and I'm yet to find something that treats my skin better and smells as great.

Clinique
This came in the Clinique set that I bought a whole ago and I was actually surprised that it lasted as long as it did. It was an okay product but not something I would reconsider buying again especially not for the price that they are.

Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Oil Free Moisturiser
This was basically a standard moisturiser with a grapefruit scent. That is it. I didn't notice it making my skin clear or anything exciting like that. Soooo yeah I'm glad it's finished.

Garnier Fresh Essentials Refreshing Toner
I used this product after I had cleaned my face in the morning and evening to get the remainder of dirt off my face. I like this product because of the fact that it was really refreshing and cooled my skin.

Nivea Double Efferct Makeup Remover
When I first bought this I really liked it. I then started to notice that it was not working as well to remove my eye make up even though it claimed to remove even waterproof make up. I just stopped liking this product and ended up having to use something else to remove my eye make up as well as this, which was really pointless.

My name is Remmy & I have a PROBLEM…..

Yep, I am here to inform you all of this BIG and SHAMEFUL problem that I have.

So basically I have come to the realisation that I am a product junkie. I have more products than I can actually use. I then decided to come with a way to solve this problem by using them.

I have decided to aim to use 3 products up by the end of each month without re-stocking till I am all out of products, and only when all my stock build-up has been depleted will I go and but the products that work for me and stick to it.

This month I have started off well by using up the following products that are shown below.

Clinique Liquid Facial Soap
The first item is the Clinique face wash from the 3 step sample size pack that I purchased a while back. I really liked this product at first but I just seemed to leave it and move on to something else. I doubt that I will be repurchasing if I am honest.

Allways Natural Indian Hemp Cream
In all honesty I cannot actually tell you how long I have had this hair cream for. I tend to use it more whenever I have braids in because I tend to get really itchy scalp and this cream just tames that itch. I already have a replacement for it which I am going to use as soon as the braids go in!

Midnight Fantasy Perfume
This perfume was given to me by Mumsy after I bought her the larger version. There was about half in it at the time but kept it when there was like 5 sprays remaining and didn't want to finish it. Eventually I had to :-(

Neutrogena Visibly Clear Moisturiser
This product was a struggle to finish product. The reason being that the formula seemed to leave me really dry which I really did not like! I used it to moisturise in the morning but moisturised with another product in the evenings. Again another product which I would not be purchasing again.

Victoria Secret Pure Seduction Body Butter
I love this product so finishing this was no problem at all. I tend to have quite a few of these as spare as people tend to get it for me when they travel to the US (before the store came to the UK). I love the scent of this and leaves my skin realllyyyy soft. I tend to mix it with vaseline when I use it (don't judge until you try it)!

Clinique Clarifying Lotion
Again this came as part of the 3 step set. I used this product as told (Morning and evening) but I hated this product as it left my face feeling really dry and tight which was the opposite of what it was meant to be doing. So I stopped using it. A friend then suggested I use it once a day instead and that seemed to work so much better. Re-purchase? probably not.. sorry!

Vanilla Eau De Toilette
This has to be my signature scent. Like seriously this smells AMAZING and I got it from The Body Shop. I even got a few friends onto the product and now they are hooked. It is not too overpowering but lasts for most of the day.

Hopefully I will keep this up and have more empties to show you by the end is August!

Are you a product junkie? Let me know and maybe we can embark on this 'journey' together lol

Solid Foundations...

...Make a beautiful face!!!
Well something along them lines anyways.
Recently I have had some lovely comments in regards to my make-up and in all honesty its down to the state of my face before pancake application.
I am a firm believer in looking after the foundation (being your face) before apply make up to it.
After all make up is there to enhance your features, and not mask the problems...

So I decided to share the products that I use and LOVE! As you know everyone is different and what may work for me may not work for you!!!

Garnier Pure Deep Clean Foam Wash...
I Live by this product. Seriously this product has done unspeakable wonders to my face and it is all down to the ingerdiant Salicylic Acid and Zinc. These two helps to tighten pores and remove impurities. All I can say is theta my face feels super CLEAN when I finish washing it with this product.

Lush Angels On Bare Skin...
This is a product that I have raved about in the past on my other blog. I love this product but do not use it everyday as it can be harsh for everyday use. But it  does leave me with baby butt smooth feeling skin.

Superdrug Vitamin E Moisturizer...
This is my daytime moisturizer. I like it because any type of Vitamin E is good for the face and does exactly what it says on the tin. I has a problem of my face getting really dry as the day goes on but with this product I have really noticed a difference. Who says beauty has to be expensive?

Bodyshop Vitamin C Microdermabrasion...
Now this product I find very useful. I do not use it often and in all honesty there is really no need to. I use it twice a week to get rid of the dead cells that sit on the skin and give your face that added oomph needed when you have that 'Dull Day'. The Vitamin C that is contained within it I am sure you know is very good at promoting radiance in the skin and is just an all round bonus for the skin. Great product

Bodyshop Tea Tree Toner...
I use this product religiously every night. Like I actually do not go to bed without using this before applying the Tee Tree night lotion. It just gives me that re-assurance that I have a thoroughly clan face as well as working hand in hand with the lotion to combat any spots that may have happened to develop or want to develop overnight. Very gentle on the skin BUT also very effective.

Bodyshop Tea Tree Blemish Fade Night Lotion...
I really like this product. It is a night time moisturizer and I apply it to my face after cleansing it at night and giving it the once over with the Tea Tree Toner! These products work hand in hand.

I hope you have found this post useful and give you an idea of some products to try.
