Hey Lovies, 

So the love I have for makeup had made me want to spend money lavishly which included considering spending LOTS of money for expensive branded brushes. I always believed that if you skimp on price you will definitely be skimping on quality.

Boy was I wrong when it comes to these brushes. I found out about these brushes from a friend who directed me to a blog (I can't for the life of me find the post) where the babe was talking about the Ebay version on these brushes. Seeing as I did not have an Ebay account, I hauled myself to Amazon to find the equivalent and lo & behold I found em! and for £13 may I say they are a bloody bargain. So soft, sturdy and quite frankly GREAT!

Blender Life...

I honestly believe I am the last person in the Makeup world that was yet to get my hands on the Real Techniques Complexion Sponge (Beauty Blender). I finally decided to take the plunge when I walked into Superdrug and found out that it was buy 1 get one 50% off! So you know I had to make them mine and see what all the fuss was all about.

I have used it once and found it to be EXTREMELY soft. I have not had the chance to touch or use the original beauty blenders so cannot compare but I can say that my foundation was blended in like a dreammmmmmm! I will let you know how I feel about it properly later after a few more uses.

I am already in love... Such a whore with my emotions right lol!

Nude Obsession...

Hey Lovlies,

Recently I have developed this special love for nude shades and tones. Whether it be clothing, nail lacquers or more recently lip colour I just love the nude shade.

So on my recent trip to Superdrug, I came across the new Colour Sensational Nude Collection by Maybelline and I became like a kid in my version of a candyshop. The collection has 5 shades: Naked Brown, Tantalizing Taupe, Honey Beige, Coffee Craze, Sultry Sand that I am currently aware of but I will update this if I get anymore information on them. I only managed to pick up two from the collection as they were the only untouched ones - by that I mean not tested by customers *side-eye*. I must say I love th packaging to the Maybelline lipsticks, just so pretty and dainty.

The shades I selected were Honey Beige & Coffee Craze:

The Honey Beige has more of beige tone while the Coffee Craze has a slight pink undertone. While swatching the lipsticks seem really creamy to the texture which is always a good thing. I may do a review on my YouTube channel after trying it out properly.

Loreal Skincare Range

As you know a few months ago I purchased the new Loreal range to test out and see if it was any good.

L'oreal Gentle Eye Make-up Remover

I was really excited to try out this product as I am a great lover of eyeshadow and waterproof mascara. This claims to remove all make-up including waterproof make-up using a non-greasy formula. It is also said to be great for sensitive eyes as well as contact lens wearer. 

Now one thing I can really say is that it sure is gentle. Maybe a little too gentle as I found myself having to really scrub to be able to get even the normal mascara off. This as we now can be bad to the eye area as it has thinner skin and can be damaged easily. So with all of that said I will not be repurchasing it.

L'oreal Skin Perfection Micellar Solution

The micellar solution claims to remove all traces of make-up and draws out impurities and excess oils form the skins surface. It is said to also tone the skin. This one micellar is a cheaper alternative to the Bioderma micellar solution that has had the blog world going crazy. This feels like water and has an extremely light scent. It does what it says by removing the last traces of makeup from my face after I have cleaned my face with my face wash.

L'oreal Radiance Revealing Gentle Exfoliator

Now this face wash is probably my least favourite out of the three products. This product is 'designed and proven to remove makeup and impurities revealing a better texture'. I really feel like this done nothing for my skin. Like absolutely nothing. What I also found was that it did not clean my face as well as I expected it to, so ended up haing to wash it again with another product. And I thought it was also pointless that it could only be used once a day. 

Overall I can see the aim of these products, but in my own opinion the only product I may be repurchasing is the micellar solution. Hope this was helpful if you were considering this range.

November Empties...

This month has been kind of a struggle month to get through products if I was to be totally honest. As usual I didn't give up and managed to use up the following...

Superdrug Baby Shampoo

Now before you say 

"Erm Rems, for why?"

It was not for my hair but to wash my makeup brushes with! I like using baby shampoo to wash my brushes as it is really effective in cleaning them but also really gentle so does not damage the bristles.

 Visibly Clear Spot Stress Control Cleansing Lotion

This product is an amazing product. I bought it to just try it and see how it works out and I love it. I use it after washing my face both morning and night to get all the remaining dirt that my cleanser may have missed. I can certainly say this has been a big contributing factor to my skin being as clear as it has been recently.

Superdrug Vitamin E Intense Moisture Cream

This product is an amazing product for me! It has been great at helping my face feel well moisturised and look like it has some life in it. I think it may have something to do with the consistency. Either way I feel this will be a staple product throughout in regards to my skincare routine, and as usual I have another tub to get through all thanks to my old habits of buying products in 2s and 3s!

Neutrogena Visibly Clear 2-in-1 Wash/Mask

I loved the formula of this was and it done an AMAZING job at keeping blemishes and breakouts at bay! the fact that it can be used in two different ways meant that I did not actually need to separate products. I would definitely recommend this.

Garnier Soft Essential Comforting Toner

This toner is basically the dry skin version of the toner discussed in the August/September empties post. Again I used this product to remove the remainder of dirt left after cleansing. It was refreshing and gentle to my skin also.

Soft & Precious Petroleum Jelly

Please dont judge me for this product buutttt, I use this on my body. I mix it with my lotion and oil then use it. I have done so since I was very young and it has been working well for me! It just helps my skin feel sooooo soft!
